Next Steps

During late 2004 to May 2005 the Urban Mission Development Advisor, Erica Dunmow undertook a Consultation exercise with 128 urban mission practitioners across the UK in order to test the needs of those in urban mission, and decide upon the best way to deliver the five project outcomes that had been set when the funding was sought.

A draft report of the results of this Consultation process was presented to the 2004 Review meeting of the 25 sponsoring and endorsing agencies in June 2005, and the Next Steps Report, incorporating their feedback, was published in September 2005.

The Report gives valuable information about the urban mission setting in the UK, useful for other national and local agencies and denominations supporting people in urban mission.

The final section contains the tasks that the Project will aim to undertake in the next phase of work to be reviewed in June 2006 by the Project's sponsors and endorsers.
