History of the Project 2005-06
The 2006 Review meeting was held in Leicester in June, and representatives of a further seven agencies, in addition to most of the original 25 Sponsors and Endorsers, were present. The Review meeting considered the Faithful Cities Report , published in May 2006 (see www.culf.org.uk ) and the links and synergy between the Project's Outcomes and Faithful Cities ' Recommendations. It was addressed by the Chair of the Commission for Urban Life and Faith, Rev'd Baronness Kathleen Richardson and Rt. Rev'd Stephen Lowe, also a Commissioner and now Bishop for Urban Life and Faith.
Complementarity between the two pieces of work was recognised especially around the issue of training for urban mission practitioners. The meeting also endorsed exploration of continuing the Project beyond its original three years, to work on training issues and develop the urban mission practitioner networks regionally and UK-wide. The Further Steps Report 2006 , published in September 2006, gives a full report of the Project's activities and includes the feedback from the Review meeting.
